Helpful information when planning your

 West Highland Way adventure

THE FORECAST

Welcome

The West Highland Way is Scotland's first long distance footpath and is now over 40 years old. Each year thousands of visitors from the UK and all over the world come to Milngavie where it starts, to embark on an adventure that takes them from the Lowlands of Scotland with its quiet and scenic countryside to the majestic Scottish Highlands, possibly one of the last great wildernesses in Northern Europe. This site is designed to help you, the visitors to the area, gather information about the local weather easily in one place and provide some pointers to some of the facilities here in Milngavie at the start of The West Highland Way. I hope that this website gives you a little insight into The Weather on The Way.
